We are Mercedes and Franziska Welte – sisters, artists, and the creative force behind NONOS. Our works are not created for function or decoration alone; they are sculptural expressions that bring our artistic essence into daily life.

Our Journey
Art has always been the heartbeat of our lives. Growing up in Austria surrounded by creativity, music, and cultural openness, we each found our path through experimentation — from painting and performance to sculpture and material research.
Over the years, we have mastered the expressive possibilities of carbon fiber, fiberglass, Kevlar, and bronze, translating their physical strength into emotional resonance. Every artwork we create is shaped by hand, guided by intuition, and rooted in an ongoing dialogue with nature.
For us, sculpture is not static form — it is movement, rhythm, and the play of light and shadow. Each piece carries within it the energy of our shared vision and the precision of craftsmanship honed over decades.

NONOS artworks dissolve the boundary between sculpture and design. Their flowing silhouettes and nuanced surfaces transform interiors into curated spaces of timeless presence and emotion.
Can I see the works before purchasing?
Yes. Our works are on view year-round at Interiors Collectiv in West Palm Beach, where they can be experienced in person. Additionally, we offer private viewings by appointment — virtually, in selected galleries, or in our atelier. Collectors may also send us a photo of their living space, and we will render the chosen NONOS artwork directly into the interior. This allows you to see how the piece interacts with light, architecture, and atmosphere before making a decision.
Do you create commissioned works?
Yes. Collectors and institutions often request site-specific sculptures, wall objects, or paintings. We collaborate personally to ensure the artwork resonates with your vision and environment.
Can I speak directly with the artists?
Absolutely. Many collectors value this personal dialogue. We are always open to discussing the creation, meaning, and story behind your chosen artwork.
How are the artworks delivered?
Each artwork is packed with museum-standard care and shipped fully insured.
Can I visit the atelier?
Yes. While our atelier is generally private, we open its doors to collectors and art lovers on select occasions throughout the year — including during the Bregenz Festival, the “Long Night of Museums,” and the Christmas season. These moments offer a rare opportunity to experience our creative world first-hand, surrounded by vases, sculptures, and paintings in the place where they are born.
